Developed by Dr. Michael Dirr at the University of Georgia this paniculata is smaller and more manageable for a small garden or container than other paniculata's. Flower panicles of full glistening white are held high on stiff upright branches that don't flop all over the garden. A smaller hydrid of 'Pink Diamond' hydrangea with an upright to vase-shape; leathery dark green summer foliage turns a yellow fall color.
Works well in dried arrangements. Part shade to full sun, prefers average, moist soil; blooms on new wood; heat and drought resistant; benefits with layer of mulch to moderate soil temperature.
