A hardy, reliable, fast growing shade tree with upright branching and a well balanced, broadly oval head. The new spring leaves are tinted red then become a rich green throughout the summer. Deeply lobed leaves turn a brilliant orange-red to brilliant red in the fall. The fall color holds longer than most other trees.
