Sprays of magenta-red flowers bloom in mid-spring above bushy dark green leaves. This shade variety is a great choice for edging or as a groundcover. It’s drought-tolerant once established.
Spidery lavender-violet flowers with very long white spurs. The medium green, deciduous leaves have spiny-toothed, oval leaflets on wiry stems and form an attractive foliage mound. New leaves in spring emerge beige with a red tinge, mature to green and turn red in fall. Epimediums are among the easiest perennials to grow.
