Brilliantissima Red Chokeberry has forest green foliage throughout the season. The oval leaves turn an outstanding scarlet in the fall. It features showy panicles of white flowers with brick red anthers at the ends of the branches in mid spring. It features an abundance of magnificent red berries from early fall right through to late winter. The smooth gray bark is not particularly outstanding.
Brilliantissima Red Chokeberry is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. Its average texture blends into the landscape, but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition.
